Shen Hongyu, deputy chief judge of the Fourth Civil Division of the Supreme People's Court of the People's Republic of China (SPC), together with Xi Xiangyang and Guo Zaiyu who are two judges and colleagues of Shen, visited the Beijing No 4 Intermediate Court on Jan 13.

President of the Beijing Fourth Intermediate Court Liu Yi and Cheng Hu, vice-president of the court, received Shen and her colleagues and participated in the survey. All the judges of the Beijing International Commercial Court participated in the discussion.
This inspection is the first exchange among the parties after the establishment of the Beijing International Commercial Court.

Shen learned about the jurisdiction and trial and inspected the operation of the Beijing International Commercial Court. She said that the SPC will conduct further research and then determine the case jurisdiction and the next steps.
