Wang Shengming, a member of the Standing Committee and vice-chairman of the Supervisory and Judicial Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), visited the Beijing No 4 Intermediate People's Court to learn about the foreign-related trials in the Beijing International Commercial Court, on July 14.

Tao Kaiyuan, vice-president of the Supreme People's Court of People's Republic of China (SPC); Kou Fang, president of the Beijing High People's Court; Kong Qingguo, research fellow of the NPC Supervisory and Judicial Affairs Committee; and Wang Shumei, chief judge, and Shen Hongyu, deputy chief judge of the Fourth Civil Division of the SPC, were present at the inspection.

Wang visited the exhibition on the foreign-related commercial trial work of the Beijing No 4 Intermediate People's Court. He had discussions with police officers. Vice-president Liu Shuangyu of the Beijing High People's Court and President Liu Yi of the Beijing No 4 Intermediate People's Court reported on the work of foreign-related trials.
