The forum aimed to discuss the adjudication ideas and principles of handling foreign-related commercial trials through typical cases of foreign-related commercial trials that have arisen along the Belt and Road in China and Singapore.

Yang Wanming, vice-president of the Supreme People's Court (SPC) of the People's Republic of China, attended the forum and delivered the opening remarks. Liu Guixiang, a member of the SPC judicial committee, delivered the closing remarks.

The forum was jointly hosted by the China's National Judges College, the Case Research Institute of China’s SPC, and the Singapore Judicial College. Judges from China's SPC and legal experts attended the forum.
