In order to innovate the model of cooperation and co-development between the courts and universities in Beijing, promote the seamless integration of theoretical research and judicial practice, and jointly cultivate legal talents, Beijing No 4 Intermediate People's Court has conducted research and held symposiums with Tsinghua University and Renmin University of China. Agreements were signed on the joint construction of innovative bases for collaborative training of foreign-related legal talents.
The research focused on further enhancing the construction of the system of foreign-related rule of law, cultivating legal talents with both morality and competence, exploring scientific exchanges, and strengthening the construction of publicity platforms. The Beijing International Commercial Court (BICC), an affiliate of the court and the first international commercial court established for a provincial-level administrative region, has rich practical resources in foreign-related commercial cases. Engaging in in-depth cooperation with a number of institutions of higher education with high-level theoretical research think tanks, the BICC aims to promote the deep integration of legal education and trial practices, explore innovative legal talent training models, and create a new chapter of collaborative development between courts and universities.
Beijing No 4 Intermediate People's Court, together with Tsinghua University and Renmin University, will jointly explore innovative models and training systems for the cultivation of high-level legal talents in foreign-related fields, so as to provide strong talent support for the overall promotion of rule of law and better safeguarding national sovereignty, security and development interests.
