Mei Yu, deputy chief judge of the Beijing International Commercial Tribunal (BICT), was recently invited to lecture on judicial review of commercial arbitration at the course on the practice of arbitrators in engineering cases launched by the Permanent Forum of China Construction Law (PFCCL).
Mei provided a detailed explanation of the key issues of judicial review in commercial arbitration and judicial viewpoints on challenging issues of great concern.
She also offered relevant opinions and suggestions on standardizing arbitration procedures, promoting fairness in substantive judgments and enhancing the credibility of arbitration.
