Li Yingxin, vice-president of the Beijing Fourth Intermediate People's Court (BFIPC), and Ma Jun, chief judge of the Beijing International Commercial Court (BICC), recently attended a promotional conference on the construction of the International Commercial Arbitration Center (Beijing) held by the Justice Bureau of Beijing.
A signing ceremony for strategic cooperation was held at the meeting. Li, on behalf of the BFIPC, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Beijing municipal Justice bureau. According to the agreement, both parties will work together to promote the construction of the International Commercial Arbitration Center.
Following the promotion conference, a symposium on the construction of arbitration center in Beijing was held.
Representatives from the China Law Society, the BICC, representatives of dispute resolution agencies in Beijing, as well as experts and scholars, provided suggestions. Officials from the Beijing Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee, related municipal-level government departments, secretaries general of legal service industry associations in Beijing, and leaders of district-level judicial bureaus participated in the discussion.
