A delegation led by Hamad Makram Tawfek, vice-president of the Egyptian State Council and president of the Supreme Administrative Court of Egypt, visited the Beijing Fourth Intermediate People's Court (BFIPC). Jin Xuejun, deputy secretary of the Leading Party Members Group and executive vice-president of the Beijing High People's Court, and Gong Haoming, secretary of the Leading Party Members Group and president of the BFIPC, received the delegation.

The delegation visited the BFIPC's Case Filing and Litigation Service Center, the One-Stop Diversified International Commercial Dispute Resolution Center and the bilingual courtroom of the Beijing International Commercial Tribunal, gaining a comprehensive overview of the BFIPC's innovative achievements in modernizing its operations. They also visited a thematic exhibition on the traditional Chinese legal culture.

During a symposium attended by the guests, Jin introduced the overall work of courts in Beijing, including the management of cases, key initiatives and administrative trials.

Gong highlighted the BFIPC's jurisdictional responsibilities, administrative trials and the development of the foreign-related rule of law.
Tawfek expressed his gratitude for the BFIPC's warm reception, noting that he experienced the deep integration of the traditional Chinese legal culture and modern trial work, as well as the wisdom and achievements of China's modern judiciary through this visit. He also spoke highly of China's creative practices in foreign-related judicial services and smart justice.
The two sides also engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on issues such as administrative dispute resolution, appearance of heads of administrative organs in court proceedings and litigation services.
