Ma extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation and provided a brief overview of the development of the BICT in recent years. He said the beneficial interaction between the judiciary and arbitration is a significant reflection of progress in the rule of law.  He expressed the hope to strengthen future interaction and exchange with the Beijing Arbitration Commission and jointly improve judicial supervision and court assistance in investigations and evidence gathering to continuously advance arbitration services and the quality of awards, thereby supporting the development of the Beijing International Commercial Arbitration Center.

Looking ahead, both sides will jointly explore new models of coordinated judicial and arbitral development, demonstrate greater contributions in serving national strategies and contribute wisdom and strength to enhancing China's voice and influence in the field of international dispute resolution, he added.

Ding introduced the case handling and judicial supervision work of the Beijing Arbitration Commission this year, highlighting key measures taken to strengthen time limit management, arbitrator disclosure, and improve the quality and efficiency of arbitral awards.

During the discussion session, the two sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on hot and challenging issues in the judicial review of arbitration.
