A case heard by the Beijing International Commercial Court won the second prize of the first Outstanding Achievements of People's Courts in Judicial Cooperation Related to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, on April 15.
Cheng Hu, vice-president of the Beijing No 4 Intermediate People's Court, and Ma Jun, chief judge of the Beijing International Commercial Court, attended the signing ceremony and press conference held by the Supreme People's Court of the People's Republic of China on "the Arrangement between the Mainland and the Macao Special Administrative Region on the Mutual Assistance in Preservation Measures in Aid of Arbitral Proceedings" on Feb 25.
The case of "Ruisu Company's application for determining the validity of arbitration agreement" heard by the Beijing International Commercial Court was selected into the "Ten Typical Cases of the People's Courts Serving the Construction of Pilot Free Trade Zones" issued by the Supreme People's Court of the People's Republic of China, on Feb 15.
Ma Jun, judge of the Beijing International Commercial Court, delivered a keynote speech and answered questions at a summit themed on New Mechanisms for Mutual Recognition and Enforcement of Civil Judgments in Matrimonial and Family Cases by the Courts of the Mainland and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, on Feb 15.
